California WIC offices remain open during the federal shutdown and stores will continue to accept WIC checks for food. Contact local WIC offices for hours of operation. California Department of Public Health WIC is closely monitoring the situation and will share information as it becomes available.
WIC participants who have received WIC Checks for food should continue to redeem them at WIC grocers. WIC authorized stores must accept and redeem all WIC Checks while federal funding is available.
California WIC is funded through at least the end of March.
