The AACGS offers a variety of courses and services to enhance knowledge and appreciation of African and African-American history. We provide tours, storytelling, and black poetry sessions by appointment. Our curriculum includes African folktales, African and African-American research, South American research, and writing your family history. We also offer courses on preserving records, military records, personal research, and researching Illinois and Southern state records.
