The EV Ready Program, spearheaded by Peninsula Clean Energy, is a comprehensive $28 million initiative aimed at accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in San Mateo County through the installation of 3,500 charging ports over four years. This ambitious program not only provides $24 million in project incentives but also offers free technical assistance to aid in the design and implementation of charging projects. Additionally, participants gain access to negotiated pricing for EV charging stations and benefit from a responsive network of local contractors trained to efficiently install the necessary charging infrastructure.
