The City of Colusa Police Department, located at 260 6th Street, is committed to delivering police protection services with a focus on community-oriented and problem-solving approaches. Our mission is to perform our duties in a business-like yet sensitive manner, promoting a positive contribution to both law enforcement and the community. The department is staffed by nine sworn full-time officers, including the Chief of Police, one lieutenant, two sergeants, and five officers, supported by a non-sworn secretary. We are also in the process of adding our first full-time detective, enhancing our capabilities. Utilizing a fleet of seven vehicles, our dedicated team strives to ensure the safety and well-being of the City of Colusa.
