Introducing the Kansas Youth Hunter Mentorship Program, a comprehensive and hands-on program designed to provide Kansas youth with the knowledge, skills, and guidance needed to become responsible and ethical hunters. Our program pairs experienced guides with youth participants to offer mentorship, education, and practical experience in the field.
Participants in the Youth Hunter Mentorship Program will have the opportunity to learn about hunting safety, wildlife conservation, firearm handling, and outdoor ethics. There are five Kansas Youth who are selected to participate each year. Applications open in early February.
The Youth Hunter Mentorship Program is open to any Kansas youth aged 12-17 who are interested in learning about hunting in a safe and supportive environment. Whether they are new to hunting or looking to enhance their skills, our program offers valuable opportunities for personal growth and development.
Join us in empowering the next generation of hunters through our Youth Hunter Mentorship Program. Together, we can cultivate a community of ethical hunters who are dedicated to preserving our natural resources for future generations.
