The daily ritual of bathing or showering can be daunting at any time, but when you're elderly and in the later stages of life, it can seem like an arduous task. It can be challenging to step into a tub or onto a mat for fear of falling. The bathroom is often too small to allow for assistance from another individual. Yet, the need remains to care for personal hygiene, which is necessary for everyday living, self-esteem, and emotional well-being.
