Casa Esperanza utilizes student volunteers and interns to provide support to the Family Care Team, Clinical Counselor, and Social Work Interns.
Family Studies Students will benefit from:
- Exposure to Casa Esperanza families and the unique dynamics of families navigating treatment of serious medical illnesses
- Learning about the challenges and joys experienced by members of the Family Care Team as they work tirelessly on behalf of families staying at Casa Esperanza.
- Shadowing and working with Social Work Interns and the Clinical Counselor.
- Casa Esperanzas team and individual experiences in the social services field
