The Crime Suppression Unit (CSU) is a team consisting of a Sergeant and four officers from the Rancho Cordova Police Department. The team is funded by Measure H (also called the Community Enhancement Fund). The primary function of CSU is to be a high visible, proactive street level team. The team’s primary focus is on high crime areas which are determined by calls for service and intelligence. The team’s goal is to take a proactive approach to law enforcement rather than reactive.
