Scholarships

Forman Scholars can receive $40,000 during their undergraduate college years. To be eligible, students must be attending Salem High School, living in Salem City, and attending a school in the Salem County Vocational School District, or attending one of the public Salem County high schools open to enrollment to Salem residents. Applicants must also meet certain academic and financial need requirements. Additionally, applicants must be enrolled in the Foundation's Acorn Fund prior to submitting an application.

We have recently selected 13 students from the 2021 Senior Class of Salem's students to be the next group of Forman Scholars who will be attending their freshman year of college in September 2021. In September, we will begin the application process that will lead to the selection of the 2022 cohort of Forman Scholars. We will have more information at that time that will outline the process we will use to make that selection.
