The Altar Guild at Faith Lutheran Church plays an important role in our worshiping community by taking care of all the behind-the-scenes preparation of the sanctuary for our Sunday morning worship services.
The Altar Guild prepares Communion, cares for the linens and vestments used in worship, cleans the altar area, and places the flowers in the sanctuary. The Altar Guild is also responsible for decorating the sanctuary for holy days such as Christmas and Easter as well as serving coffee during the Sunday morning coffee hour at Faith four times per year.
In addition to performing their weekly duties, the Altar Guild meets three times per year to schedule the weekly roster. The dates and times of these meetings vary. All ladies willing to serve are welcome to join! Training is provided and you always work with others!
