Domestic Violence Services

Began in 1979 and operates the second-largest domestic violence shelter in Los Angeles County. WINGS goal is to help domestic violence survivors and their dependent children move out of crisis and toward safety and autonomy. Today, WINGS continues to provide residential and non-residential housing and serves over 6,000 people, including children. We also reach over 4,000 through community education on domestic violence, dating violence, healthy relationships, violence prevention, and bullying. Through educational presentations, we reach out to people to raise awareness of the entrenched, overlooked, and widespread social problems in our region.
