Education

Education is an important part of Christian life. No matter how old we are, we continue to learn and grow in our faith.

The primary source for our continuing education is the Bible. The Bible is a collection of writings penned by Jesus’ spokesmen (we usually call them prophets and apostles). These things were written so that we might believe that Jesus is our Savior and that by believing in Him we might have life in His name (John 20:31). As we study the Scriptures we learn of God’s great love for us. We also learn how to love one another. The Bible doesn’t answer every question we have. But it does teach all we need to know for a full life on earth and eternal life in heaven.

The Scriptures were written to the church as a whole. That’s why we don’t just read the Bible on our own. We read them together as a congregation and together with the entire Christian church on earth.
