Emergency Care

If your pet has an emergency, we encourage you to call ahead so that we may prepare for your pet's arrival. Dr. Jones has experience as an emergency clinician.  We will triage your pet to determine how urgent or life-threatening the situation is in order to make a recommendation for in-clinic treatment or stabilization and referral to an appropriate emergency/critical care facility. After-hours emergencies should be seen at an emergency clinic and we can provide follow-up care.

Some nearby 24-hour emergency clinics with estimated travel distances and times are listed below, in order of distance from Animal Friends.  Please call them when you are on your way.  See their website links for directions.

If your pet is non-responsive, having trouble breathing, bleeding, or actively seizuring, please go to the nearest location.
