The Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District (MRGCD) offers the On-Farm Planning Program (OFP) designed to enhance agricultural productivity through various infrastructure and land improvement projects. These projects include, but are not limited to, the installation of improved turnouts, farm delivery pads, irrigation pipelines, control boxes, and laser leveling, as well as providing land use assistance. Farmers interested in benefiting from the OFP are encouraged to reach out to the Conservation Program staff for more information. Additionally, MRGCD provides technical support such as soil, water, and compost testing, USDA eligibility assistance, and conservation planning. Financial aid is available through multiple funding sources and grants to support these initiatives.
